ActiveCollab Launches its new Quickify to Supplement 3rd Party Tabinator
activeCollab, the popular cloud-based, project management and collaboration tool, like many others of its kind is constantly on a path of releasing upgrades and improvements for its wide user base and has recently released their new Quickify module that combines well with a previously released module, Tabinator Pro.
Tabinator Pro is a 3rd party module that works with activeCollab that has proved particularly popular amongst users and, in response to this, the team at ActiveLabs have launched their equivalent, Quickify! So, how does Tabinator Pro and Quickify come together to offer real user benefit?
Tabinator Pro was introduced to give users more control within their activeCollab environment and can help team members involved in multiple projects to keep track of their assignments and deadlines from the minute they login to their account. Tabinator Pro offers a number of useful features, for example, users can choose which tab will be the default active one within the dashboard view, which can itself be customized to add new dashboard tabs. Quick access to assignments is available through ‘favorite assignment’ filters, making them available from the dashboard, saving navigation to the Assignments section of activeCollab. Tabinator Pro allows users to customize the This Week and the Next Week tabs, allowing a summary view of all activities and deadlines within those timescales.
Quickify is a new module developed by ActiveLabs and is a tool that allows users to work on their Tickets and Tasks inside your tickets, but directly from the Dashboard, the Project Overview page, as well as other areas within activeCollab. The functionality sees a popup appearing when a user hovers over either a ticket or a task and this popup allows the update of the associated information for that ticket or task in question. The allowed updates include: editing the information, moving or copying to another project, attaching documents, adding new tasks, posting a reply or comment, applying and changing assignments and completing or re-opening the item.
For users who want quick and easy management of their tasks from a single location, then Quickify is a must-have module.
The modules are both available at a relatively small cost: Tabinator is $49 and Quickify is $99.
Combined, the features offered by both Tabinator and Quickify offer significant benefits to users in terms of organising their key information into a single, easy to access location, along with the ability to make speedy and instant updates and looks to be a combination worth the small investment.
