One such product is the well-established and popular Central Desktop, that has recently announced some new time-saving features for its users.

The first new feature centers around events and scheduling. These days, it is helpful if you can get an idea of who’s available and who’s not when scheduling an event and the new Attendee Availability allows you to do just that. We’ve all spent time setting up meetings, sending invites and then having to reschedule because one or more recipients comes back and says they’re not available. When you’re booking rooms and, often, other resources too, to go cd calendarwith these meetings it can quickly become a small industry setting up a simple meeting or workshop.

As part of the SocialBridge solution for Central Desktop, the Attendee Availability tool will show you a table-style view that gives you information on who you want to invite and sections in their schedule when they are free or when they are busy. The new feature is simple to use: just create a new event in your Central Desktop calendar, choose who to invite, choose a date and time, then click the new Show Attendee Availability option. By clicking on Show Attendee Availability, you are then given a table where you can see any open gaps where people may be free. You can select an open time by clicking within the table. Really, it couldn’t be any easier!

The second new feature gives an updated overview for the project manager and aims to give a simplified view of task-heavy projects allowing the project manager to focus on those things within the project that really need more urgent or immediate attention. The new view shows a simplified list of items that are overdue, those that are due in the next 5 days and a list of recent activity.

These new features have been well-received by Central Desktop customers. For more information on Central Desktop and to sign up for a free trial account, please visit:
