  • Sharebar

5pm has just announced the introduction of its new feature allowing the import of data from a different 5pm account.  This means users can now simply merge together or, indeed, separate out, two different 5pm accounts simply by importing the data from one account to the other.

5pmExpanding on this, imagine you have a standard set of activities that will take place across more than one or your projects. Previously, there was no easy way of replicating these in other projects. This new import facility means that the required information can simply be included in many other projects without the need to re-create them from scratch.

To import data from another 5pm account, first make sure you are working within the account that the import is being performed on.  Then simply access the import feature by visiting the settings menu, where the import option is now available.  It’s worth noting, this new feature is only available to 5pm account administrators.

5pm is one of the leading online, subscription based, project management applications and its distinctive and colorful interface sets it apart from many of its competitors.  It was originally built on the foundation of getting more done by 5pm and this new import feature is yet another addition that helps its users to do just that.

With its user friendly interface, 5pm needs very little, if any, training to get even the most technophobe users up and running.  With clear buttons, icons and menus and well laid out screens, users can be productive quickly and project managers can be assured that their team have access to the most up to date information on project progress.

As a product, 5pm supports all the expected areas for project management, including task and milestone management, time tracking, resource management and allocation and centralized storage for project related files and documents. In addition, it offers an interactive timeline, giving users a graphical representation of their project activities and strong email integration ensuring everyone concerned is kept up to date with automatic email notifications.

5pm offers a number of different subscription packages with something for the budget of most organizations, whether small or large.  For more information on 5pm and to sign up for a free 14 day trial, please see:

  1. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
