Hot! New WorkEtc Add-In for QuickBooks

 WorkEtc quickbooksA new QuickBooks Desktop add-in for WorkEtc has recently been announced.  The new add-in will install under the QuickBooks menu items and is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista and QuickBooks USA 2005 and above.

WorkEtc is one of the more popular online, project management applications that is available on demand as a web-based service.  It is available on a monthly subscription and gives users the project management tools they need without having to install specialist software on their local servers.  Of course, delivering projects involves costs and payments which, in turn, from a business perspective requires its own specialised software.  QuickBooks from Intuit, in a similar way to WorkEtc, is one of the leading business accounting applications available across the cloud.

So, what does this new add-in offer to QuickBooks offer?  This early release will take invoices, expenses and payments recorded in WorkEtc and incorporate them within QuickBooks, making this information available to QuickBooks users without having to leave the application.  Before the add-in was introduced, making this type of financial information available from within the project management application, meant creating an export CSV file from within WorkEtc and then importing it directly into QuickBooks, which can be a slow and tedious task.

The add-in is currently in Beta testing and is expected to be available across all users in the very near future.
