TeamLab Introduces Documents Feature for iOS and Android
TeamLab have just announced the introduction of their Documents version for both iOS and Android devices.
Documents and files are animportant part of any project and provide the context for the delivery of the project that is being managed and tracked within TeamLab and keeping them in a central location within the project environment helps to ensure that team members and other stakeholders have immediate access to the correct versions of documents, without the need to search disperse data stores, such as, individual email archives.
The new Mobile Documents functionality gives the user those features that are needed to let them view and organize both their shared and personal documents directly from a smartphone or other supported mobile device. The functionality works for a variety of document types, including, spreadsheets, presentations, word-processed documents and images. In addition, the user can make and save notes in text format. In addition, users with Android devices can upload photos to their TeamLab portals.
A search capability lets TeamLab Mobile users quickly and easily browse through and locate the particular
document they are looking for.
Getting started with TeamLab Mobile is quick and simple. Users simply need to enter their portal address in the mobile browser with the addition of ‘/mobile’ to follow the pattern:
[user portal name].teamlab.com/mobile
