Hot! TeamLab Mobile Introduces Projects

  • Sharebar

TeamLab have recently announced the introduction of the Projects section to their mobile product, which now allows users to manage and update their projects from a smartphone and includes the ability to view projects and team information, create and update tasks and milestones, make TeamLab mobilecomments, along with the scheduling and and taking part in online discussions. This new functionality comes alongside the existing Community activities support that already existed.  In today’s fast moving project-based environments, the ability to work mobile is paramount to success and any online, on-demand project management service has to provide this type of support for its customers to remain competitive in this market.

The TeamLab Mobile app has been optimized for both iOS and Android hand held devices and has been built as a web-based app rather than a native app, which means there is no need for extensive downloads of information since the mobile app simply accesses the base information directly from the TeamLab site.  Users just need to enter their credentials in the mobile browser and they are immediately online and ready to go.  Updates to information, then, are automatic and available to all as soon as they are released.

The release of this new version of TeamLab Mobile is one release in a planned program of updates to bring a large number of extra features over Teamlab coming months, with plans to include support for the access and management of documents, sending and receiving emails between project team members and the management of customer relationships.

About TeamLab

TeamLab is a freemium software-as-a-service project management application that differs widely from its competitors in that the majority of its functionality is available to its customers free of charge, with only a small percentage of features incurring a cost.  The application offers a range of features to support project management, including creation, management and assignment of tasks and milestones, ongoing project reporting, along with tracking of time across project-related activities and these are available as part of the free service.  The enhanced features that are available at a cost include 10Mb of storage space along with the ability to upload and manage project documents and files, making them available to team members within a central and easy to manage location, and the management of access rights to restrict access to project information.

It’s worth noting that a huge 90% of the TeamLab functionality is, in fact, freely available.  For more information on TeamLab Mobile, please visit:
