In conjunction with the University of Southern Denmark, the Danish government has announced the open Danish Government Scholarships for students from abroad. The scholarship is funded through the Ministry of Higher Education and Science for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The Danish Government Scholarship for international students is highly competitive and is offered to students from abroad who want to enroll in Masters of Engineering (Electronics and Mechatronics). The scholarship includes the tuition fee waived 100% and a grant with the cost of living up to around DKK 3000 per month.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN DANISH GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DETAILS
This scholarship focuses on recognizing some significant expenses students from abroad must pay for their studies. This Faculty of Engineering has the possibility of awarding exceptionally qualified students to other programs in Sonderborg to receive a scholarship too. These scholarships are granted to the most outstanding applicants by the average achievement of the Bachelor’s degree.
Notification: The applicants eligible to receive the Danish State Grant are not eligible for the scholarship.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN DANISH GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the University of Southern Danish Government Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Eligible candidates must be international students.
- The applicant must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
- The eligible applicants must be enrolled for one of the Master’s degrees in Sonderborg, and the program will start in September. MSc in Engineering Mechanical Engineering as well as MSc in Engineering Electronics (Sonderborg)
UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN DANISH GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS APPLICATION PROCESS
The awards will be given to the most outstanding applicants from the group of eligible applicants who applied to the program. Any applicants who meet the requirements and are admitted to any of the programs will be eligible for the scholarship since it does not require an application that is not separate.
To have the chance of being admitted to any of the programs, applicants need to complete and submit all required documents on or before the date.
- Candidates must submit their official Bachelor’s transcripts and a degree with their diploma in English, Danish, Swedish or Norwegian and should be sure they add credits and grades for each course.
- Candidates must include a description of every class on the transcript.
- Candidates must show evidence of English Language competence.
